Blink 182 Tour!!!

FINALLY!!!! Mark JUST posted a piece from the New Rolling Stones Magazine, that tells us about the new blink tour! The tour will start July 24 and go through October (Great birthday present for me, since my b-day is right before the 24th). The ticket prices will start at $20.00-$60.00, which is a GREAT price for the best band in the world. The openers will be Fall Out Boy and Weezer. So the rumors everybody heard about Weezer were true, but the rumors about All-American Rejects were not true.
For their first tour since 2005, Blink-182 are trying a new strategy: rehearsing. "We used to walk onstage and forget our parts -we just wanted to play fast and look cool," says bassist Mark Hoppus. "This time we want to be more artistic." The trio's reunion tour will feature all their pop-punk hits and a few new songs, plus they're planning a light show from Daft Punk and Kanye West's set designer, "We want to use the entire arena as a lighting rig and a stage," says Hoppus. "We're being as ambitious as possible."

Tom did twitter something about Weezer a few weeks ago:

We DO know some of the songs Blink will be playing. This is just SOME of the songs they'll be playing this summer. Mark said they are adding more songs everyday.

Get Ready everyone!

More Blink 182 Updates

If you saw my older post I show pictures of the old blink bunny they're bringing back, the new blink bunny. Well Mark showed us a picture of the new bunny with a makeover...and some clothes. It's quite a big change to go....

from this: to this:

Haha! I like it alot! :)
I also have a new picture of blink at a photo shoot. I think it's for AP Magazine, not positive, but pretty sure. Whatever it's for, I like it!

The 5 Things on the Octopus/FOB USB

Ok so if your like me and live in a place where NO good bands ever come (except for when I have no money to go see them) you probably never get to see anything exciting....no.....just me? That's about right. Well I LOVE Blink 182 and I HIGHLY doubt they will be touring in Arkansas, (but hopefully they will in Texas, then I can go!) but Mark and Pete from Fall Out Boy have been hiding these "secret" USB drives with "secret" stuff on them, and who ever finds em gets em! Well of course I won't get one, but at least its not blink stuff and I can already see for myself what's on the USBs.
The five things on the so-called "secret" USBs are:
  1. Mark Hoppus/Octopus Photo Shoot Documentary
  2. Mark Hoppus/Octopus Photo Shoot Pictures
  3. File Saying “Email Your Mailing Address To Receive Something Soon"
  4. Fall Out Boy - America’s Suitehearts (Mark Hoppus Remix) Music Video
  5. Fall Out Boy - America’s Suitehearts (Mark Hoppus remix) Song
For some reason I'm not able to upload the videos that are on the USB, probably cause my internet sucks, but I got the links instead.
#1 Mark Hoppus/Octopus Photo Shoot Documentary

#2 Mark Hoppus/Octopus Photo Shoot Pictures

#3: The Special Something Is The Pink Octopus Toy Once It's Finished Being Manufactured. It may also contain a link for the winner to order a Octopus/FOB t-shirt that will be shipped to them in the future.

#4 Fall Out Boy - America’s Suitehearts (Mark Hoppus Remix) Music Video

#5 Fall Out Boy - America’s Suitehearts (Mark Hoppus remix) Song. I don't have the link for the song, but I posted the video, so you can figure that out :) *hint hint*

Mark and Pete have already given a few away from various places, some more are going to be given away at places like Canada, Japan, Brazil, and other places in the U.S.

"There are only 100 of these things made — Hoppus and Wentz have distributed them to their favorite people across the world, with the instructions that they must be given away — and so far, they’ve been handed out via Twitter scavenger hunts, won in raffles and, um, dug up from beneath lifeguard stands in Santa Monica." -MTV Newsroom
MTV will be giving one away in a video contest, but to find out what you need to know it would be wise to follow Mark and Pete on Twitter, And check out himynameismark every once in a while for the clues!
**UPDATED!! (5-12-09)**
I found out from my friend on twitter, (himynameisalan), there is a site where you can download all the files on the Octopus/FOB USB in one file. Just go here!

Photo Mosaics

This past mothers day I made my mom a photo mosaic for her. It was from around 400 pictures from me and my two sisters childhood...........just a bunch of pictures of us alone and all together. To make the mosaic I needed a program cause I certainly wasn't going to do it the old fashioned way, I had to do a picture mosaic in my art class in 10th grade with tinie tiny pieces of construction paper. It turned out pretty good, but took sooooooooooo long. Anyways I went to Google and searched for a free photo mosaic. I found one called Mazaika (3.2) it was a good FREE program, well its free for 30 days, but its still a good program. I posted the link here in case anyone else wants to make a cool picture. It does take some time unless you have all of your pictures already on your computer, but I had to do it the old fashioned way....by using a....SCANNER!!!! AHHHH!!!! Yea it sucked but it was worth it. I went to my moms house around 11 a.m. and stole all of her photo albums, which was about 10 albums, and then took em to my house to scan. I got done around 8 p.m. I did take a few little short breaks, like to go to the bathroom, eat, stretch my legs and stuff like that, but STILL it took a longgggggggggggg timmmmmmmeeeee!!! My mom loved the picture by the way. It was a picture from my weding of me, my mom, and my two sisters. Here is the picture I did, and a close up of the small pictures inside the big picture:

I also found some other cool photo mosaics. The first one is from the new Indiana Jones movie:

The next one is just SOME of the deaths of our soldiers in Iraq, of George Bush:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

If you liked the first Transformers movie, then you can probably expect to like the next one: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I myself loved the first one and have watched it over and over. I just saw the previews for the new Transformers movie last night when I was waiting for the new X-Men movie to start, which, by the way, was great too. What I saw of the Transformers movie was awesome! Sam decides to go to college, but he doesn't bring his car with him (which is a robot if ya can't remember). Why wouldn't you??? Yes, I know it might be a "robot" but, come on Mr. Witwicky! That car is freaking sweet! My first car was a freakin' 1987 Nissan Pulsar that hardly ran half the time! But that's another story.
Anyways, back to the movie. Sam is still with his girlfriend Mikaela, but now they are in a long-distance relationship while she works on cars and motorcycles and stuff like that. But the main part of the story is as so:
"The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron's dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye."
If ya liked what ya saw in the first one just wait a little longer, June 24, 2009 to be exact. I can't wait. I love movies and love when a movie I love has a second part to it! So just hang on it'll be out soon!
